Taguig, Philippines -- As artificial intelligence changes both the way organizations work and the way attackers operate, cybersecurity leaders in the Philippines are set to converge this week for I AM SECURE 2026: ISOGx Season 4, a full-day cybersecurity conference and exhibition taking place on October 1, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at SMX Convention Center Aura in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Organized by the Information Security Officers Group (ISOG), the event is built around the theme “Soaring High: Future-Ready in the Age of Intelligent Threats.”

The event brings together cybersecurity practitioners, government and defense stakeholders, technology providers, enterprise security leaders and members of the academic community. Organizers describe the program as a combination of strategic keynotes, expert panels, technical sessions, solution presentations, exhibitions and networking, with the broader I AM SECURE program designed to strengthen collaboration between government, enterprises and technology partners.

For attendees, expect the conversation to move beyond conventional perimeter defense. The published agenda themes include emerging cyber threats and global attack trends, zero-trust architecture, cyber resilience, AI and privacy in national security, cloud security, secure communications, cyber operations, space-domain awareness, supply-chain security, critical infrastructure protection and cybersecurity workforce development.

Several industry voices are also expected to add perspective. Kamal Narayan, Senior Director of Product Management at ARCON, is scheduled to participate, while Adrian Go, Senior Solutions Engineer–SEA at Cyble, is set to discuss automating security operations and moving from alert overload toward faster incident response.

The exhibition component will be equally relevant for enterprise technology watchers, with cybersecurity vendors demonstrating approaches to identity security, security operations, threat intelligence and cyber resilience. ARCON, for example, is scheduled to exhibit its Converged Identity Platform at Booth P5, covering privileged access, endpoint security and identity governance.

Attendance is free, but it is not automatically guaranteed. I AM SECURE's registration terms state that admission is subject to eligibility, verification, venue capacity and final approval by the organizing committee. The event prioritizes cybersecurity and technology decision-makers—including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, DPOs, security leaders, SOC professionals, risk officers, cloud-security and DevSecOps teams—as well as qualified students and academics.

WHAT WE THINK ABOUT IT

I AM SECURE is worth watching because it captures a bigger shift underway in Philippine technology: cybersecurity is increasingly becoming an AI, infrastructure, identity, governance and national-resilience conversation—not simply an IT security problem. The discussions at SMX Aura should offer a useful snapshot of how Philippine organizations are preparing for that next phase.
